The great variability in processes, the issue of which various magazines have accustomed to raise, and the coverage of potential conflicts of interest of authors creates confusion for authors, readers, and the public. To counteract this, the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) has developed a single electronic disclosure form and placed it for general use in October 2009.Downloads
