Digital copies of all journal issues and articles are securely stored in trusted international archiving systems. This guarantees their availability in the future and complies with DOAJ and archival requirements PKP Preservation Network (PN)LOCKSSCLOCKSS. The Journal «Морфологія / Morphologia» uses the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform and its integrated preservation tools.

Files are stored in formats that ensure long-term compatibility and accessibility. Modern backup systems (on-site and off-site) and mirror servers are used, ensuring data recovery in the event of technical failures. File integrity and link functionality are regularly checked (checksum verification). In the event of changes to access technologies or platforms, the journal ensures the transfer of materials to new formats and services to guarantee continued availability. All archive copies are stored in several independent locations. Users can verify the availability of articles via DOIs and repositories, which minimises the risk of material loss.

Authors are allowed to self-archive all versions of their manuscripts (accepted and final published version) without any embargo period in institutional or thematic repositories, as well as on personal or departmental web pages.

When depositing their work, authors must cite the DOI of the article and include a link to the original publication in the Journal «Морфологія / Morphologia».
