Policy of using of AI

The Journal «Морфологія / Morphologia» supports the responsible and transparent use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted tools in scholarly writing. Such technologies must not replace the authors’ intellectual contribution.

Author Responsibility

Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and originality of the manuscript, including any content produced with AI tools. AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

Permitted Use of AI

• language generation, editing, or grammar enhancement;
• assistance with text organization;
• creation of descriptive, non-interpretative content;
• data analysis only with full author oversight and verification.

All AI-generated output must be carefully checked for accuracy, correctness, and ethical compliance.

Prohibited Use of AI

• generating fabricated data, images, results, or references;
• using AI to produce scientific interpretations or conclusions;
• processing confidential clinical data in external AI systems.

Disclosure Requirements

If AI tools were used during manuscript preparation, authors must disclose this in the Acknowledgments section, specifying:

• which tool was used;
• for what purpose;
• which parts of the manuscript were generated or edited by AI.

Failure to provide an accurate disclosure may lead to rejection of the manuscript or post-publication investigation.
