800 years ago Ibn al-Nafiz was born (Ibn al-Nafis, 1213, in other words 1210-1288) - an Arab physician, the largest anatomist of his time.Born and educated in Damascus.He spent most of his life in Egypt, being the personal doctor of the Sultan.Nafiz is the first Muslim scientist who compiled an anatomical collection containing mainly the data of Ibn Sina and their comments.The first in the history of science expressed the idea of pulmonary circulation.Downloads
